The Big 12 is getting much better in basketball though. This was KU's conference for so long. Time's changing.
I hate the Longhorns, but they have so much potential to be a 2 sport school if they get their shyt together.

It’s over.
this was the shot.
the COVID fukkery will end one day and men’s college bball will be back at full strength. We all saw how trash they Kentucky’s and Dukes of the bball universe were this year. That shyt ain’t happening again or those brand name coaches will be finished.
Zags will still slap up every team in their conference but they aren’t some team that Big 10, Big 12 and definitely ACC programs will be scared off. Pac-12 is iffy and that lil run by UCLA might not be enough to hold off a true powerhouse.
Short story short is they didn’t do what needed to be done. Can’t even call it a choke job. They got beat. That’s it.
Houston isn't in the big 12 though. But I see your point when it comes to the state.it’s been Houston, Baylor and Texas tech (lost to VA in 2019 title game) BIG 12 about to be the SEC of basketball
Gonzaga is full of adam morrison clones
If Gonzaga was more efficient, this would be a closer game. Baylor has been sloppy and careless.

Yea I don't see anything very special in the kid but he still has a lot of time to grow.Am I the only one that thinks Suggs is overrated?
The Zags aren't going anywhere anytime soon .. they're a perennial power team now ..recruiting elite 5 star one and done's like Jalen Suggs ... They just signed the #6 overall player in the country and if Chet Holmgren who's the #1 recruit in the country goes to college its going to be at Gonzaga ... this isn't some little cute story mid major anymoreIt’s over.

Ok you're saying 2 completely different things. You brought up paying for players and how now his talent is different than several seasons ago. This is simply not the case. He has had serious talent for the last 10 years. This isnt new. He had been pulling in really good recruits for years and it was clear he was doing something sneaky. Now Xs and Os are different sure, but he has had the talent for years. This just happens to be his best team. They didn't look like this in 2018-19. They were perimeter oriented and zoned you. This is the Monstars compared to that team. Yes, he's been able to pull talent down to Waco, but nothing like this. You'd see in previous tournaments that they'd face a roadblock or two. Wasn't the case this time.
Actually the squad before that that played Duke in 2010 in the elite 8 was imo his second best team behind this one. That team was stacked. I remember sweating bullets watching that elite 8 game on my birthday.yeah that perry Jones, Quincy acy, Brady heslip, Quincy Miller squad was nice
Yup. Not sure how he has gotten away with it either.Facts Baylor has always had talent. Scott Drew is definitely giving dudes the bag.
Not true. Gonzaga has had high seeds many many times before and gotten best the first weekend. Honestly this gonzaga team was really good but I dont even think it's Fews best assortment of talent. He has had more talented teams beat earlier. Imo that Adam Morrison team was his most talented. There have been many other talented teams he has had too that just lost earlier. Actually that Ronny Turiaf team with Adam Morrison the year before was really good too. Also the elite 8 team that lost to Duke in 2015 was really good as well..the team with Karnowski.Yea the zags benefit from facing no competition year after year. As long as they are a top 5 seed there will always be that chance that they make the final four. It's only a matter of time before they strike.
He reminds me of Jamal Murray
if he develops a crazy jumper... maybe lillard but lillard more athletic
