remember when bulter made it 2x 2010 and 2011 in the title game and lost to duke and UConn. Never saw them again. Smh

These Gonzaga nikkas stay choking on that big stage ...this like the second or 3rd time over the last few years that they've taken an L with the supposed best team....they might just be regular season warriors like that 60 win hawks team from a few years ago :francis:

The Zags aren't going anywhere anytime soon .. they're a perennial power team now ..recruiting elite 5 star one and done's like Jalen Suggs ... They just signed the #6 overall player in the country and if Chet Holmgren who's the #1 recruit in the country goes to college its going to be at Gonzaga ... this isn't some little cute story mid major anymore

Ok you're saying 2 completely different things. You brought up paying for players and how now his talent is different than several seasons ago. This is simply not the case. He has had serious talent for the last 10 years. This isnt new. He had been pulling in really good recruits for years and it was clear he was doing something sneaky. Now Xs and Os are different sure, but he has had the talent for years. This just happens to be his best team.

Actually the squad before that that played Duke in 2010 in the elite 8 was imo his second best team behind this one. That team was stacked. I remember sweating bullets watching that elite 8 game on my birthday.

Not true. Gonzaga has had high seeds many many times before and gotten best the first weekend. Honestly this gonzaga team was really good but I dont even think it's Fews best assortment of talent. He has had more talented teams beat earlier. Imo that Adam Morrison team was his most talented. There have been many other talented teams he has had too that just lost earlier. Actually that Ronny Turiaf team with Adam Morrison the year before was really good too. Also the elite 8 team that lost to Duke in 2015 was really good as well..the team with Karnowski.

Also people forget that for a long time the committee wouldn't give Gonzaga or other mid majors one seeds. It only started occurring witn ik m the last 5 years or so.

Word..You got give Few his props no matter what he has had Zaga on the map for a minute now...they literally wasn't shyt before he took over and their literally in the middle of nowhere.......The fact there consistently getting 4-5 star talent now their reign will only continue maybe even better.....But they got to step up the level of competition to help prepare them in the tourney cause the WCC aint it, the mountain west aint the PAC12 but at least they got schools like SDSU esp that could give them a run....


Baylor was just that damn good though...you can't prepare for that style depth and experience in a day....
