MoS was a good superman movie. We finally had a movie that showcased his abilities. Superman Returns was in the vein of old movies but where does it rank, on the lower tier right?

A Superman movie is more than just showcasing his abilities though. Both MoS and Superman Returns are crappy movies, I've said it time and time before but I don't get why people insist that it has to be either one or the other and there are no alternatives.

Returns isnt crappy just boring. They could mix them but after MoS if they not bringing that type action then its really no point

It was a great film. Best superman film hands down. Those Donner flicks are dated and corny as fukk. Nobody wants that Ole time boy scout superman anymore.

It just has a very vocal minority who hate it and have to constantly repeat themselves with the same talking points for years and years and beat you over the head of why it's "not my superman"
