Official Luka Doncic Will Be A Bust Thread

DeAndre Jordan is a pretty big fukking addition. That's a top 5 NBA center. Not to mention, the Mavs are a lot more healthy this year and finally playing Larry Nowizki less as well. Dallas has a good team.

Hmm... I don’t agree that Jordan is a top 5 center but he’s probably top 10 (off the top: Embiid, Jokic, AD, Towns, Gobert, Drummond, Adams, and Marc Gasol ahead of him imo). He’s not the defender he used to be but he’s still a solid presence and great rebounder and finisher.

How do you guys define good? They are competitive but I doubt many people had playoff expectations before the season. I think sneaking until the 8th seed would still be a surprise at this point.

?? The Mavs were a bottom 5 lottery team last year and the only major additions are Luka and DeAndre Jordan (who has been solid). Why are you trying to say they are good?

Dallas were tanking last year, they always had some talent and Jordan plugged a major hole. Luka is definitely a big diff maker though. Kinda like the Lakers, given how many games Ball & Ingram missed last year, winning 35 games last year means they would have competed for the top 8 without Lebron.

AD is a 4.

I think Jordan is better than Drummond this year but you can make a case for Vucci. Capela been much better of recent form but he was awful for the first two months

I agree with @#1 pick. I been telling brehs in the main Mavs thread that Deandre Jordan this season with the Mavs is a better player than Tyson Chandler was on the 2011 Mavs championship team.
