Trae is without a doubt better, but he won't win because of ESPN.

One dude was like Trae passed my expectations and Trae gets game planned for and he will be stopped. Believe that He knew he was full of shyt but it killed him that he was wrong. You were wrong, eat crow bytch!

At what? Assists? Definitely not points, rebound, steals, defense, win shares, per 36mins, or per 100 possessions.

If you remove a 5 game sample size after the All Star break, Luka has clearly been better. See how easy that was?

I got nothing against Trae. Good for him. Good for the Hawks. But people be doing the most trying to be selective with the stats with certain windows and timeframes and omitting 80% of their performances to focus on Assists and recent 3pt% or recent FG% over a small sample size.

It's an 82 game season. ROY is a reg season award. They don't give it out for 2 categories and 3 months of play.

We give meaningful double digit starter minutes to guys like Jalen Brunson and Tim Hardaway Jr and Dirk Nowitzki.

Meanwhile the Hawks got Collins, Huerter, Bazemore, Deadmon. All of those guys would probably start on the Mavs.

We got the worst roster in the league. I bet you can't even name 5 active players on the Mavs. That's the reason why we're like 1-9 in our last 10 games and we lost to the Nets by 30+.

You're just focused on certain specific stats with absolutely no context and running with your narrative.

Oh, and with this awful second half of the season after gutting the roster, Luka still putting up numbers and going to win ROY. What does that say about Trae?

Luka's per game numbers have gotten better each and every month. His season numbers are better than Trae. He's a top 5 player in Clutch Time. Lukas team sucks and he still has more Wins than Trae. But Trae is better?

He is legit one of the worst defenders in the league and can’t rebound. Luka can at least be hidden on 4 possible positions depending on who is the better matchup for him.

Both players look like the types that can orchestrate an elite offense in the near future though. They both are putting up crazy numbers.

JJJ looks like the prototype for today's big man and a future star.
