I read the book before I knew it was going to be a series, and I've been rooting for black shows of sci-fi/fantasy for decades. That's my favorite genre.

This ish was trash. But then again, the book wasn't good to begin with. This is an example of a show trying to do entirely too much. There was already plenty enough to tell a compelling story, before they added 3x the amount for each character.

I don't get the comments about the haphazard writing. Everything came together at the end, and everything mattered to the overall story.
I hate that we're not getting Hyppolita & Diana's adventures in Season 2.

I get the shyt was flawed and it may have been out there for some people…..


But I feel like there have been countless white shows like this for years that never got this same criticism and got way more than a season.

I enjoyed just seeing black people play roles that normally have been reserved for white cast with this show

This show alone for a lot of people really put JMajors, JSmollet, and WMosaku on the map

and they're clearly onto bigger and better things.

This show really ruined Micheal K Williams mental health and allegedly led to his drug relapse.

Is this really that deep? Is it worth watching?

I heard it started off good, but then went really left with the writing. Is this a good watch?

Nah this shyt is trash. I really hope this show wasn’t really what pushed him to drug use. This show uses black trauma porn to mask subpar storytelling.
