Not bad...They managed to tie up most of the plot lines. I doubted they would be able to pull it off in a 1hr episode. :ehh:

Did Ruby give Leti her power back from the ancestral plane?

I dug Dee's cybernetic arm. They set up a potential second season without leaving a cliffhanger.

Overall, show was dope. There needs to be more black wierdness.

No, Christina gave the mark of Cain back to Leti, after throwing her off the watchtower. She told Ruby that she wouldn't harm her sister. She got what she wanted, and by the time Leti would wake up, it would be too late to stop her anyway. She didn't know about Ji-Ah though.

I'll say this they took it a different direction from the book and it came FULL CIRCLE that they fukked it up.

Man, I really wanted them to let Tic live to raise his son. Now the kid gets raised by the women and Montrose(who isn't a strong male will go back to bussin bussy and dranking). (Yes I said it like that cause in all honesty I don't want a second season of this writing without the novel).

I don't remember, did Diana ever meet Christina and have a conversation with her?
y’all fixation on the gay portion and the boys versus girls shyt in this thread is troubling to put it mildly...

"So the one straight brother left on the show dies, so that girl power and the gay dude can raise the baby......yeah....what an ending...."
like what kind of criticism is this? people in here mad because a straight male character died as opposed to anyone else :mjlol:. tf are y'all keeping score for the "home team"?

A lot of homophobic folks on here

Brehs, do yall thing we view it different.

Yes, I said that about they gay thing I also mentioned that he has a drinking problem I could have elaborated that right there could be what caused him to punish Tic the way he did. Montrose is not a strong character!!! PERIOD

I just know it's a strong narrative in real life that strong blacks fathers aren't around, why not use this platform to change that?

The N.O
It's funny that I was in a heated discussion about salt circle/ prayer with"Christian" folks all this week and it shows up on the show
I even looked at my ol lady like:sas2:

Ain't no reason for a season 2 imo it was a cool lil show for what it was :manny:

Y'all tripping on people speaking on obvious agendas but maybe

Just maybe

Some of us would like to watch TV without seeing unnecessary brokeback mountain scenes. :hubie: the female agenda was there as well. It's not like they over powered the show but you'd be helen keller not to notice it.

"Montrose has a brave and fierce heart" :mjlol:

Tf has this nikka done all season besides cry and be gay?:russ:
You couldn't even argue that he was brave for being gay in that time period since he hid it from everyone and was clearly uncomfortable with it unlike his gay lover. I'll give him a pass for having to relive Tulsa but dude was drinking heavy all season too.

I still wanna know why did Montrose kill the hermaphrodite
He didn't want them to learn more about the book of names. What I want to know though is why this was so casually brushed over. He slit that woman's throat in cold blood like it was nothing and Tic and Leti were only bothered by it because it set them back. :mjlol:

:mjlol: like why tho? The book helped them in the end and he just came off as a weak ass hating gay nikka this whole show. Every episode I'm shaking my head saying it should of been you instead of uncle George
