solid finale. im good on anymore seasons. i give this show a 7/10 with some individual episodes being better than that. cool to see some wild scenarios, but when it's all over, there is a very hollow feeling to it all.

On the whole this show wasn't fukkin with WATCHMEN from a consistency standpoint... WATCHMEN every damn episode was either a 9/10 or 10/10

Stuck it out til the end hoping there would be a payoff. But Jesus Christ. What a complete mess. Whole episode felt like they couldn't wait to get it over with. That ruby-leti fight scene might be the cringiest shyt I seen in my life

.....this shyt felt like something you'd see on TBS right after charmed. Cheesy dialogue, horrible special effects, and piss poor storytelling. Didn't feel any emotional attachment to any of the characters at all. Even tics death felt empty as fukk.
Every episode you felt like you missed some shyt because the storytelling was so rushed. I was entertained throughout the season despite all of its flaws so I was hoping they would put it all together at the end. But the finale was just laughable from start to finish. These creators were just the wrong people to tell this story.

Finale was pure trash. Most of the shyt just happened to wrap things up and I burst out a few times laughing actually, in particular when they had Tic crying like a child to his mama and that awful fight scene with the cartoonish sound effects.
Ji-Ah was completely wasted. After that dedicated flashback episode it felt like she was going to be more important to the story and her role was actually intriguing, instead she ends up as a pure plot device with a total of 5 minutes of screen time in the last couple episodes.
And be serious folks, we all know that if they continue the series it will become even worse. Without the groundwork of the novel this will fully devolve into nothing but strong black woman fantasy with atrocious writing. I'm not even mad at that, they made it clear that's their lane and one look at Twitter tells you there's a crowd for that. I'm just going to ignore it.
