I don't see it passing but seems interesting and then I wonder what parishes/districts would legalize it if allowed and which ones would be
Hell if you can't get legalization let parishes vote to decriminalize it at least so you can't get arrested for just possession. I know i got caught with weed a couple times in East Baton Rouge parish and they just give you a misdemeanor court summons but back at home in St Landry Parish they taking MFs to jail over a blunt

State could make ridiculous revenue especially in Lake Charles and Shreveport, by bringing in the gambling crowd, but now the cannabis crowd too from Texas
.....but these legislatures are mentally still 20 years behind.
..they would throw up some moral defense thing probably. It's such an easy win. Let the localities decide by vote of the people, then localities can frame it, maybe with state help, and maybe collect a lil state tax too.

Even if it was legalized I doubt my job would stop the random testing. I should take advantage of this quarantine and find some edibles.
