How old is your kid?

It's not a kids movie for a lot more reasons than violence and t*ts. The movie is dark and depressing as fukk. Not saying whether you should take your kid or not but he might not get a lot of scenes depending on his age.

Fred.

He's 8
He loves everything super hero related
I'm not really into that
He understands their storylines more than I do
But it seems like it's more than just that

It's not really a super hero movie.

Would you take him to see a "regular" drama movie? If the answer is yes, take him to this. There's a lot going on in this movie about morality, old age, etc. that most kids either wouldn't get, or wouldn't be interested in. As far as the nudity and violence, :manny: I seen worse when I was his age but I don't think I'd be able to follow this movie when I was 8.

This nikka at work said he was disappointed at how disgruntled Logan was and he said he like X1 over Logan :mjlol:

It took everything to keep from slapping him...How are moviegoers oblivious to the fact that Logan is a damaged man?????.... He's always been.......

Because the X-Men movies and the Wolverine movies prior to this mostly breezed over all that. Or gave a PG-13 version of it.

When I seen it last night somebody legit yelled "yo....what the fukk?" when it was over. Some people really expected this to be just another X-Men movie.

One thing I noticed :patrice: ......

I don't know if it's been discussed. But every important character to the plot dies, I mean EVERYONE .... except for the kids. The main character, Logan, prof X., Caliban, the Mexican nurse, the Black family (RIP  ), the racist CACs from the corn field, the main Dr. doing the experiments, X-24, Pierce and the damn Reavers. I mean damn this move was ruthless :damn:

That's alot of bodies man, a lot of damn bodies

Logan was pretty violent but not violent like No Country For Old Men or Casino. I wouldn't let a kid see it mainly because of its grim tone and the upsetting scenes.

A kid at one of my showing cried when the credits came on while his mom tried to calm him down

- Zemo's entire plot relied on coincidence. What would he would have done if Iron Man didn't show up?
- The camera on the tree when Tony's parents got clapped.
- Thunderbolt Ross is a huge hypocrite for getting mad at the superheroes for the damages while the government tried to nuke Manhattan in The Avengers and he made a science experiment of his own which caused a lot of damage in Harlem (Not sure if I should include this one but I'll go for it anyways)

Outside of the plot holes, adding in Spider-Man did feel a bit last minute (even though I enjoyed Holland's performance) and Captain America ran on rather selfish motives.

You don't know what a plothole is

Logan is not that graphic. I was watching terminator n commando at 4-5-6, it def is suitable for a 8 yr old

Neither of those movies are as graphic as "Logan", for obvious reasons. Special effects from the 80's look cheap as shyt compared to now.

Also both those movies are basically cartoons, plot-wise. There's a bunch of shyt going on in "Logan" that 8 year olds will not have a frame of reference for. Not to mention the death scenes. I seen "Transformers" when I was 8 and Optimus Prime dying fukked me up, imagine a kid going into this shyt like:gladbron:and the movie plays out how it does.
