Not even close. Jordan has a higher career average on MUCH higher efficiency and he peaked higher as well. Jordan not scoring 81 is completely irrelevant. His best scoring season trumps the season where Kobe scored 81 and had 4 straight 50 point games. Kobe is only surpassing him in all time scoring because he had a longer career and took significantly more shots (and missed more shots than anyone in history).
