also who says this is a version of the same story? from what i've read it's not all that similar. that's why it is happening in the first place
I would say just about everyone in here who disagrees with your sentiment has said that if it was a theatrical release then the 4 hour running time would be an issue but since it's streaming and people will be watching it from the comfort of their own homes it really doesn't matter.Look. I’m not trying to sit through a 4 hour movie and it be average or boring. That’s it..
I don’t think you need 4 hours to tell this story. If it ends up being good then great, but that doesn’t mean other studios should start doing the same. Since Hollywood is full of copycats.
Until this movie comes out and is a classic I will remain skeptical that it will be too long and drag a bit. It’s crazy that y’all are trying to act like this isn’t an ambitious goal and the average person is overreacting. Not we are reacting just right. None of their movies since the Nolan trilogy have been great.

You have definitely been having a bit of an over-reaction in this thread though. That point cannot even be argued against.

Has Joss Whedon said anything about the fiasco?

does anyone have a gun pointed at your head to watch it ??
No one cares. Don’t watch it then TF
They gonna call it super friends? So why even call it Justice League?
He still using the name to market this trash. It's the reason I created this thread in the first place.
The real question is how much is he getting paid and what percentage is he getting.
If you're going to do a complete overhaul and story, is the the previous movies going to be cannon?
I don't even recall if Whedon put out a statement when all the stuff with Ray Fisher started coming out. I'm thinking he has pretty much tried to ignore it all.Has Joss Whedon said anything about the fiasco?
I said what I said mostly because I want to watch it but don’t want it to be 4 hours.
My point of my posts was it’s not crazy to think that people feel the same way about the runtime.
It is what it is. Y’all are ok with it and some are not. You aren’t doing a great job to convince me otherwise. I’m done with the back and fourth for now. I will be back after I watch the movie
