I see what you're saying but if you look at the comics, it does look like that with all the red... a lot of the panels are just like that with the red skies
But it doesn't look like that .
The comic pages may have red skies but they still have other colors on the page that contrast and pop against the red sky.
Look at the first image. It has a blueish/black color grade but other colors are still present. Wonder woman and in other images batman etc still have their same look. The fires are yellow. The guns of the parademons shoot red streak which contrasts against that color grading and looks good.
The problem isn't that it's a red sky. The problem is that everything is red. There are no more contrasts. It looks like some intern slapped a quick red overlay on the image and didn't bother doing anything else. Those shyts by the parademons that stuck out now blend in. Those fires are now red. The Characters all look red. It's why everything looks so cgi.
And it's the same in the now touched up footage of the amazon/parademon fight. They slapped a brown over it and called it a day. Because whedon(or whoever is standing there with him) have no eye for this shyt.
MAYBE they change more and by the time it gets to release it has more done. Maybe.
They could at least change the parademons gun fire to not also be red.
Most people know snyder has great visuals but they don't know why because they don't have an eye for detail.
So you make the whole screen red and plebs will be like "OMG COLOR" ignoring that it's sapped the images of all the details.
