You worded that way wrong. Definitely looks like you said those are the 2 best comic films of all time.I specifically said recently fam and you haven't even seen Logan
All time and recently contradicts each other

It was minimal but it was still stupid.
In WW at the beginning when the amazons rush to defend their island against the invaders the use of slo mo is glorious. The slo shots are usually mid-action and it allows the movie to play out like a moving comic panel. They visuals really put emphasis on the grace and ability of the amazon women.
In BVS Snyder uses slo mo to show Superman walking towards Batman's car.
Or Jesse Eisenberg walking down a hallway
Those scenes had a specific tone they were supposed to convey though, they wouldn't have worked with regular speed. The slow mo was appropriate.
Superman walking towards Batman's car was the first meeting of batman and superman, A clash of the titans and the confrontation the movie is based upon. There had to be a grandeur to it. It was also a continuation of the slowmo look of dread on batman's face as he turned to corner and saw the alien standing there. If that split second event is sped up, all that detail and emotion is lost. Same goes for alot of slo motion usage in snyder's flicks. He's actually more justified artistically in using it than the amazonian battle you described...
But it was fukking awesome!Grandeur?
The scene lasts 1 minute. They exchange a single line of (ridiculous) dialogue each and then bounce.
Nothing was learned, nothing was gained.
The streets know that, in the words of life scholar Shawn Corey Carter , I call a spade a spade it just is what it isIt must be nice to be able to say stuff like this and not have five people bytching about Marvel stans for five pages.
Hopefully one day their filthy peasant hypocrisy loses and we can all shyt on shytty looking movies again regardless of their respective genre and/or studio.
don't let his first dope album in 10 years get you gassed out hereThe streets know that, in the words of life scholar Shawn Corey Carter , I call a spade a spade it just is what it is
At least he dropped an album, instead of releasing yet another offbeat song proclaiming his album was done and crickets for a year :smugford:don't let his first dope album in 10 years get you gassed out here

That's a failure of emceeing.Don't talk about off beat lol. At least Nas' reason is he records and then they add it to the track. Not the way I'd do it but it's a better excuse than old age. Drug dealers anonymous? Hmm
And when the album does come you'll be right there waiting. See you then
That's a failure of emceeing.
So we're gonna act like the khaled song is the only time he's been off beat?Nah that's me recording a joint and a failure on the producer to find the right beat. That's Khaled's fault not Nas'
Once the verse is out of my hands I'm trusting you to do right by it. Gza recording liquid swords to the drums. That's it. Rza built the beats around it. He trusted his producer to handle him properly.
So we're gonna act like the khaled song is the only time he's been off beat?
A true craftsmen would write to the beat.
A great week in the coli to see all the Nas stans in their feelings
Would Tarantino start shooting a movie without a finished script? Nah that's the Doug Liman's of the world.Breh if you really think mcs have and still just write to the beat without having someone come to them and say we need a verse for x and here's the amount they're paying you etc etc then you're bugging lol. I ain't in my feelings at all just telling you how it's done a lot of the time. I've been in the studio with local dudes who get that phone call. And you do what you do
But it was fukking awesome!
