Warner brothers wasn't happy with the returns and review of Batman v Superman and Snyder kept shooting justice league scenes with no end in sight. Plus, they wasn't crazy about Superman being a villian in the second movie. (Remember justice league was supposed to be two parts)
Why didn't they just fire him after BvS wasn't as well received as they wanted? Seems like they wasted a lot of time and money and then perfectly tied it with his daughter's death? That's a lot.
Fired after the daughter... So no matter how its spun it looks bad to do it that way.. If they wanted to do the proper PR the release wold say due to his daughter, he's leaving to properly grieve and etc
