Ok so I hated the 2017 film but liked this. WB fukked up being such short term thinkers. Snyder was really setting up multiple plot threads with arcs on arcs of character development. When I read the interviews you can see how much he took in the source material and how much thought he put into weaving stuff together.
Also hating on the slow mo is just corny. The music in those scenes tend to suck but it looks awesome with chaotic set pieces.
The extra Cyborg development scenes helped
Supes is supes. Needs to be a bit more expressive really.
Bats was good, sad we wont get the Batfleck film now. He had good plans.
WW was WW, but the Themscyra scenes were improved.
Flash was still WOAT but seemed more human this go around.
Aquaman was great and I appreciate the extra scenes.
The CGI was fan fukking tastic by the way. Steppenwolf looked cool as hell and he was fleshed out much better. Rather than just some random strong ass alien.
Martian Manhunter was some BS, pointless ass scene lol.
Overall I liked it. Synder deserves his props. Oh what could have been.

And unless all of you not only subscribed to HBO Max but stick around for at least a year (probably longer), Warner would've spent all that money releasing this for absolutely nothing
This movie was one big tease, and I shocked Snyder actually did it other than fan boys stroking his ego.

If he made a 3 hour JL, they probably would've released it.
And they way it was written, it would've been difficult to make it into two parts. The story itself was basic as hell, but snyder stretched it out to make it what it was.
But the runtime is the runtime.
Whedon gets hate, but he was given an impossible take. He didn't write it, and only implemented what the studio wanted.
