I hear that but my ultimate point is anyone who’s watched the old show or even old enough to have watched it in real time will tell you it was mixed. Anthology shows are always mixed. Some episodes will hit you some won’t. It is what it is.
I don’t comment on a reception or mixed reviews or whatever because shyt doesn’t matter to me. Especially not early. When the dust is settled? Maybe. Then it’s a full picture.

Ep 1: Good idea, but unnecessarily long. Took almost half the episode before it became interesting. Would have worked better if it was under 30 minutes and executed better.

Yeah but here’s the thing: it’s subjective. One persons “weak” is another persons “good” which creates a never ending loop lol. That’s the nature of art and definitely the nature of an anthology. If the overall opinion here is it’s weak, I guarantee you I can pluck another review from a movie/tv site that says the opposite. shyt isn’t math
