That's just excuses to make a boring movie. Iron Man is an origin movie, but that shyt is fire. Spending 90 minutes on Joaquin moping around in a fake Taxi Driver is cheating the audience.

It's not cheating the audience because it's always been marketed as an origin story.

Ironman's origin from the film is his origin from the comics. Joker's origin from this film (struggling stand up comedian that loses his mind) is his origin from a 1988 comic.
You want them to change it up for people with ADD?

DC haters on this board are becoming insufferable.. like its always something and the same tired complaints.. just dont watch any DC film then, like gahdamn.

this movie looks and feels epic.. real gritty. a breath of fresh air in this comedy fukk fest of comic book films that think everything needs to follow the disney regime formula.

comic book films were meant to be diverse and different, yet over 20 years in and you nikkas still want the same tired nonsense smh

Even weirder cause they know 100% we will get a Joker on-screen vs. Batman in under 10 years even though this is a one-shot movie.

It's not like this is just going to tank the Bat franchise on screen for 50 years.

The Joker isn't a brawler or master escape artist. Like Ledger said, he wasn't going bring it down to a fistfight.

He gets other people to do stuff for him. He has Harley Quinn on his arm despite treating her like crap. He's a manipulator.

In the trailer, he is getting hit by cars and other people. I don't think he even throws a punch. If anything, you're probably just going to see him inciting others to mass violence and laughing about it. Watching as he gets better at doing it. Instead of working an audience as a comedian, he's going to do it on a larger scale.
