The trailer is exactly what I expected, a character study of a man slowly turning completely insane, and I'm in for every second of it.

Yeah the soundtrack is really what put me off. After watching again and ignoring the music I loved it.

People think that the movie is "sympathizing" with the character which tells me more about these people than it does the actual trailer because who the hell would sympathize with a kid who was bullied and then shoots up a place too

I kinda assumed that but I didn't want to jump to conclusions.

For some reason people seem to think The Joker is Michael Myers or some shyt. Like he's just pure evil. A couple of versions of his origin he was a normal man that lost his mind. Which was what "The Killing Joke" was about....anybody could be The Joker given the right set of circumstances.

Trailer didn't do much to sway me either way, but I hope this blows up and is a critical and commercial success just to stick it to that overrated piece of trash Jared Leto.

Point is judging before the final product can get you burned more often than not. Fully understand that good trailers can be trash movies and vice versa. But I do trust Joaqin and that's why I have faith.

Nah people started to give him a chance when the first teaser trailer dropped, with the laugh. The trailer you posted was after that.

Prior to that damn near everyone was like "he can't be The Joker". The only thing before that first teaser that kinda made people want to give him a chance was the footage that leaked of him in the make up.
