No matter what I come in here and say I’ll get a essay response about why I’m wrong.

I didn’t like it. That’s it, that’s all.

I feel you on that, but saying you didn't like the film without offering what you didn't like about it doesn't really do much

Now that I’ve had time to watch it again, my original thoughts still stand. Weak movie, no real story, and no real point.

2 hours of Joaquin Phoenix being weird for weirdness sake.

I see why they called it Joker because if they called it the Bernie Goetz story (which is really what it is), it wouldn’t have made a billion dollars.

Finally saw this. Movie was so fukkin good. Incredible performance by Phoenix. I usually hate overyhyped movies, but this movie was so damn good.

I see why they called it Joker because if they called it the Bernie Goetz story (which is really what it is), it wouldn’t have made a billion dollars.

The director literally said the whole point was to sneak a film about ___ into the theaters under the impression that it was connected to the comic book genre. He didn't call it Arthur because nobody would have come to see it.

Dope cinematography, dope acting from the lead but it's derivative, slow and once it does pick up some of the scenes are a bit over the top.

When I think of movies that were made to subvert the comic book genre I think about James Gunn's "Super" lol, like imagine that movie with Joker level production value, it would be perfect execution of a lot of what was trying to be done here outside of the impressive troll job.

Watched it on HBO last night.
Joint was really dope.
Like the evolution of the character.
Loved them tai chi dance moves bruh was doing
Like how it got me wondering if it was all a dream and he was in arkham the entire time.

Either way it was great

Gave it a second watch and still fantastic. Joaquin’s take on Joker was incredible. He owned that role. Hopefully people aren’t just brushing off the parallels to real life on here. I know the white losers had no idea the theme was about them, but hopefully everybody else understood what was going on.

-I own the movie, watched it multiple times & I'm with the brehs that say if it wasn't the Joker & this shyt came on TV I'd change the fukking channel.

-I actually fast forward whole sections of this shyt. In reality a lot of it's boring to me. I liked it less every time I watched it. I got it to go with my comic movie collection & I'm a Joker Stan. If it was named Arthur with the same trailers I wouldn't have bothered with this shyt

-I'd rather see Ledger Joker lying to random people about how he got his scars.

-Plus Thomas Wayne was the major force behind the movement

/Rant for now. If it wasn't for the fact they put Joker name on this shyt I'd rate it maybe 4/10. Without the name this shyt gets the bushes.
