Really good movie and props to Joaquin for his portrayal. He made it his own just like Heath did. I can also understand how this movie could inspire incels. A lot of the rhetoric he was using was painting himself as a victim just like those actual people so.

Watching now, dude is killing it and this shyt is just a great film. That said, I still prefer heath and joker being part of comic book films as opposed to serious cinema, there’s still a goofiness to what joker is to try to make it pure drama and cut away the comic element.

Finished it. It was cool. Wasn't blown away by it. Very demented take on the character. I can see how people would have been turned off by the idea of this movie especially with the parallels in society (eating the rich, people who kill indiscriminately).
