This logic makes zero sense because the word was out that Joker didn't really appear in the movie until the very end. So how could the title alone generate $1 billion?
Unless people were living under a rock they knew damn well it was a movie about Arthur Fleck.

neither is this. But there is precedent for Arthur Fleck being a lame in the comics. You cats act like Ledger's Joker is the definitive version.....guess what,
that's not canon either. I don't understand complaining about "they took away everything that makes the character cool!" when he has no set origin.
