Yes, he said that and then when you actually watch the movie you see that he was bullshytting and there are many references in there such as the whole talk show segment that was inspired by the comics lol
It's okay to have a different viewpoint, it's not okay to be an idiot and what backlash? The movie has rave reviews from audiences across the globe and is continuing to break records... all because of it's strong word of mouth.
That brings me to my next point. Why was this unstickied? It's still the #1 movie in most countries.

The movie was stickied well over a week before release, up until last week. Which is actually longer than most movies.

There is currently like 10 stickies, I'm not leaving a month old movie up there because it turned an insane profit.
"IT: Chapter 1" also broke a crazy amount of records, it got taken down in less time than this movie.

Watched it, honestly don't understand how the outrage got so big. The movie was mild as hell, and his main issues had to do with people being a$$holes rather than some incel shyt. The journalist who pushed that narrative must have been paid or trolling.

I rarely watch movies two times in a row but i will watch this again...its a good movie but I'm trying to figure out if it's a great movie because I've always been a Joaquin Pheonix fan so I dont want to be bias.
