it wasn’t Leto’s fault imo... dude can act we just saw a watered down Joker that the studio wanted (an obsessed Joker chasing Harley?). On top of that, they’re still making movies with Margret Robbie as Harley Quinn and another Suicide Squad (with her in it) like his Joker didn’t exist.

Best thing about this Joker movie is that it’s rated R. Warner Brothers execs was so caught up in chasing the success of Marvels PG-13 movies that they didn’t want a dark Gotham or DC universe when DC has ALWAYS been darker.
Leto was slapping Robbie around in some scenes they were shooting with him. They didn’t want to put a woman abusive Joker out there, despite him beating her ass regularly in the comics. Especially not Robbie because so many young white girls look up to the character.
The movie was basically about her, not really about the Suicide Squad. They reshot everything. Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and Joker were literally the best thing about the movies. Jared Leto only had like 5 minutes worth of screen time.

Like @O.T.I.S. posted, the original cut had Joker being abusive as fukk towards Harley.

The scene where Joker "saves" Harley by pushing her out of the helicopter was different in the original cut, where he pushes her out to kill her. A lot of his shyt didn't match the lighter tone the studio wanted so it was cut.

Plus to top it all off I dont even understand why he is mad. It's not like the joker he was is null and void but the one Phoenix played was in a different universe set in another point in time it seems. He could have just shut the fukk up and kept making that DC money but too bad, his loss!
