Movie was good cant believe I bought into the hype. This wasnt even a top 3 joker to me. And definitely isnt touching Heaths performance. :mjlol:

Joaquin acted his ass off though.

"Has there ever been a film performance better than this movie that just came out brehs? :ohhh::wow:"

An idiotic take such as this doesn't deserve any input other than ridicule.

Joaquin did a fantastic job but how limited is your scope to ask such a question?

Why is the movie’s release date relevant, moron? So there could never be a better performance in the future than what is already considered the GOAT? Now, what kind of idiotic take is THAT?

Go kick rocks.

After a second serving, I have to increase my rating on this...joker is a masterpiece. a masterclass work by the director and actor

because I saw an interview with JP and he said after the movie his family had an argument on what it was about and asked him and he said its whatever you want it to be :wow:

the genius of the film is it is left up to the audience to decide what is real or not so every person can have a different take on the film and not be wrong, and that is exactly the essence of what joker is
to be able to execute that perfectly is hard to do, for any film period

idk know what is real tbh, the only thing im sure of is when he was laughing at the end of the movie, was because bruce waynes parents died bc of jokers actions. they showed the clip of wayne standing alone in the alley while joker was laughing so it must mean something
so basically what about 5 of us were saiyan even before it opened:ohhh:

Ok...
I'm really starting to get a good grasp of the shyt the writers and directors were tryna pull in that movie lol.

A YouTube, had a couple great theories but as i thought about it... a few stood out. And I tried to expand on it.

There were hidden cues in the movie for when Arthur was just making up shyt.
It was the moments in the movie when something said didnt make sense, or contradictory but u just looked past it like :yeshrug: whatever...

For example...Arthur gets jumped by some kids...
And his fat co-worker says he heard what happened... and gives him a gun. Being nice to him and shyt...

But later on, Arthur's boss says that the same co-worker told him Arthur was trying to buy a gun off him weeks ago...

Also his boss apparently somehow didnt know that Arthur got jumped by kids and got the sign broke.
He told Arthur he needed to bring it back.

So in all actuality we're thinking he killed his co-worker with the midget because he lied about giving Arthur the gun...
But he may not have even given Arthur a gun or he really sold it to Arthur.
That's why he was confused in Arthur's house trying to find out what he told the cops.

So if he killed that guy because of his delusions, then I'm pretty sure the shyt that happened the three guys on the train were doing m, could have been fabricated in his mind... before he shot them

The fukking writer/director said he purposely wrote and shot the film to be ambiguous and up to the audience's interpretation.

‘Joker’ ending explained: Director Todd Phillips on fan theories and open questions

The writer/director is trying to sell/promote the movie too. :manny:

Any movie is up to the audience's interpretation. :yeshrug:

They made a great entertaining/movie.

But it isn't that deep. Some fans tend to run wild with theories, and artists/directors know it. It spawns discussion on the internet and indirectly helps promotes the movie. :manny:

The movie is admittedly influenced by Taxi Driver and King of Comedy, two movies with crazy protagonists with endings that were unclear on whether how much of what we saw was real or in the protagonist's head.

I don't think it's unreasonable for people to have theories about how much of a movie was reality when we're shown that the protagonist is having whole ass interactions that didn't take place.

We've seen other iterations of the character admit that he either can't remember his beginnings or that he likes to make shyt up.

Heath ledger provided way more classic scenes and Joaquin has a whole movie dedicated to him :russ:. This Joker got that work from the Mexican Jackson 5 at the beginning of the movie :mjlol: good thing Batman was a child he wouldve put hands and feet on this version of the character. Joaquin acted his ass off but I agree with Joe budden with this. This Joker is nowhere near Ledger and is a little p*ssy. :yeshrug:

I feel you, but it is also not unreasonable for fans of the movie to take it at face-value. They find it enjoyable/memorable too for those 2 hours and nothing more to it. :manny:

At the end of the day, mission accomplished. Great movie no matter how you look at it. :obama:
