I don’t agree with some ppl who are saying this joker is not smart enough to go against bats.
The original joker “origin” is some Failed comedian who becomes a stick up kid and falls in a vat of acid and goes on to eventually become the joker we know today.
I definitely think this joker could grow into a formidable foe for Batman especially since there’s a good age difference as well.
By the end of the movie, he really just starts to embrace the joker life style but there’s still some Arthur in there. But even then killing became more natural and he starts to indulge in it.
No telling what a decade of killing, busting out of Arkham state/asylum and doing random crimes ( assuming a year zero Batman would show up in a decade or so)could do for his psyche and criminal intellect.
You could see his confidence growing by the time he gets on the Murray show. He’s no longer trying to impersonate some one else. He struts out there and owns the moment as his self and balances the line between deranged, goofy and brooding better than any joker not named Mark Hamil. Like some one else said I could see this joker being the closest to Batman TAS joker before the others.
would love to see a seasoned, more deranged and methodical version of this joker go against a year one Batman who grabs the interest of a jaded joker, with a cracked out 90s NYC as the back drop
