While I thought he was perfect for Barton, I remember watching a ComicCon interview with the Avengers where he was the only one who said he was never into comics growing up. I think he'd rather do movies like "The Hurt Locker" and " Kill the Messenger".

Again though, I think he was the perfect Hawkeye.
