The gameplay (esp the squad mechanics) were dope to me as well as the graphics.

Really try to put this on GOTG's level... some serio0us coping..... You enjoy your broken ass Destiny Brawler with CW writing that runs like a Ford.

Had way more fun with GoTG...it's an insult to compare them.

I have played 2 missions so far so I will give my thoughts.

- The overall game feels more like a DLC to Arkham rather than a new game 7 year later.
- Also surprising this was only a next gen game because the entire game, from combat to graphics feels like a early PS4/XB1 game. Not much next-gen about this game.
- The characters for the most part are cringe, I want to slap the hell out of robin
- The areas are also mostly empty outside of a few random npcs and random goons. I just expect more detail when it comes to 2022. Arkham easily has this beat as well.
- The story so far is ehh. If you are going to pick B list characters, you need a great story and decent combat. Reason why GOTG did so well and was one of my favorite games. The dialogue was great throughout., so I don't agree with those 2 games being in the same tier.


With all that being said, I am a stan of Batman universe so this game despite all my complaints is still playable and enjoyable for me. You just have to treat it like an early PS4 game and lower your expectations. You get to whoop ass and see your favorite batman characters. I wish Rocksteady was in charge of this game, they would have done a much better job. Suicide Squad will be much better.

Ended up enjoying the game but the 2 main villains were pretty underwhelming. The court of owls storyline starts out so strong and then they just rush it with the league of shadow stuff. The Harley/Clayface parts were short too but they went all in on Freeze which I enjoyed. They did a good job with the variety of enemies and the abilities.

I never cared for Red Hood that much, but this game actually makes you understand where he's coming from. Red Hood & Batgirl are the2 I use the most in the game.

He's a good character but his design is so bad, I read somewhere that Red Hood looks like a goon who yells "Its da bat"
