and the dude that tried to kill him was a kingsguard .....leading Tyrion to beleive Cersi set him up

Yeah I know the boy took out the Kingsguard, but the Kingsguard killed an enemy that was about to strike Tyrion, right before he swung on Tyrion.

Yeah I watched ep 10 now and saw Tyrion say Cersai tried to have him killed. I know she's an evil c*nt, but I'd think that would be goin a lil too far even for her in that situation.

I was going through this thread after each ep trying to see if I missed any details or insights. I expected somebody to mention Tyrion getting attacked by his own man after episode 9.

Looking back you have to say the second season was better than the first.Besides the beheading that was the most significant thing(Pretty big fukking thing though) and the ramifications of that action is what makes the second season so fukking great.

Plus we are introduced to Stannis Baratheon of house Baratheon,First of his name,Lord of Light,Wielder of Lightbringer, and true king of the 7 kingdoms

Other characters aint bout sh*t and in the end will be dealt with.


On another note for some reason am I the only person who thinks Game of Thrones would make a great fighting game? I think a GOT game with Soul Calibur's engine would be amazing

half way through book 2... daenarys confirmed worst character. im glad they cast an attractive girl or her scenes would be excruciating.

I'm reading the first book because I never read it. I read all others before I watched season 2.


Its well worth reading. Theres a ton of detail they dont cover.

No. Though the gist is basically the same you'll be impressed on how much detail is added and how your understanding of the story and characters will increase.

edit: definitely don't do that with book 2.

I started off with the show watched the first two seasons then jumped straight into the second book.It was not hard to understand what was going on im about halfway done book is about 900 pages im 550 in and its great seeing how they did certain things.Obviously the book goes into more detail of things but you can jump right in with the second book.

The one thing the tv show did not do was really show how much people hated Stannis even his brother the king Robert shytted on him making Ned the HAnd and giving Renly Storms End.Now I understand why Stannis is the way he is and I cant wait to see how his story plays out.
