No. Simple google search would show that shortest episode was 53 minutes and almost all of them were 58-61 minutes with a few at 55 minutes.Weren't episodes usually 45 mins in the first couple seasons?
Now we're getting like 80+ minutes, correct?
It's pretty much the same amount of content we were getting before but more codensed
That how I am it like for me after watching a episode and I start thinking about it and everything that has happen in the context of past seasons episodes I starting goingare yall watching these episodes with your arms folded and the?
or
are yall into it as it happens, then reflecting on it ....... ?
And as much shyt as D&D are getting, deservedly so, we can't just forget they were also behind stuff like Hardhome, BOTB and Winds of Winter. Episodes that almost entirely deviated from the books, and needed their hand to be as amazing as they were. Hell, episode 2 from this season was fukking awesome and it also had the frantic pace they've given the last 2 seasons.
It's not that D&D CAN'T make this finale work, it's just that they lost any desire to put the necessary work to give it and ending that would be much more than just spectacle and cheap swerves. And that is a shame.

I’ve been watching a lot of interviews with Martin and d&d, and it seems like a lot of these problems are budgetary. They can’t just bench Sansa and Jamie for a whole season doing nothing and keep paying them. I think lost had the same problem— they kept around actors who had nothing to do in the plot because they would need them for the finale. In other cases t*ts clear they are keeping people around for fan service (Bronn)They had material they could use from books 4+5 that could've contributed to a coherent plot leading into this final season, just skipped it/altered it for trash plots like Sansa marrying Ramsay and Jamie going to Dorne.
Since season 5 the cracks been showing, but at the very least they got the big set piece episodes like Hardhome, Hold the Door, BOTB, Cersei blowing up the church right which let them keep their crown and have people forget about all the bad parts. Now they not even doing those episodes/plots right and getting eaten alive.
Watching it, highly entertained while its going on, then reflecting on it shortly after and realizing the dumb shyt after the hype of episode has left me
Except episode 4. I was thinking wow this is grade A dog shyt writing , as things were happening
Mainly the dragon death, the no one manning the cross bows at the end and Drogon could of killed every enemy in seconds, Cersei just not killing Dany and Greyworm right there, Melissendrei just not grabbing Cersei and suiciding with her, Tyrion mentioning the baby infront of Euron and Euron not saying anything to Cersei
Especially the last one i mentioned, i was literally waiting and expecting them to pan to Euron![]()
expression, and it never happened. If its not at least brought up in Episode 5 then ill finish the series and never watch Season 8 again no different then I stop rewatching The Office once Will Ferrel joins the cast
Itll be no different than the last season of Dexter. Completely memory blocked in my head. I saw and survived the last season of Dexter and im proud to tell you I cant remember not one fukking scene or line outside the last 30 seconds of it. I deserve a damn medal honestly.

Ahh, then you may not want to watch. The father is ruthlessIs Succession good? I watched like 20 mins of the first episode, saw the pops keep sonning his son horribly, got flashbacks of my own pops and turnt it off.
no... clickbait media runs with it... this is actually based in facts.. they never sold this mad queen shyt except burning the tarleys.. and as jon said "I executed my enemies too" so did Ned and everyone else. Nobody was talking that "Oh just lock him up for deserting the wall"
Motherfukkers killed their liege lord, rebelled against the rightful queen, then tried to kill her.... after House Tarley was original a Targ house in the first place... But now she "mad"
