But the same time was given to Jon & Ygritte...they were clearly more believable as a couple (as they are married now).
Jon & Dany have never had any chemistry. In the books, Jon only falls for Ygritte b/c he sees a softer side of her when she sings. Which is even more reason why his character wouldn't fall for Dany b/c all the girl gives is fire & brimstone.

Dany and Jon needed to meet way way earlier.... like they needed to see each other by season 6, in order to fully flesh out their love story imo.

I don’t know if there is a precedence for it but HBO should have them step down if they didn’t want to give the show a proper ending. I’d imagine some of the actors would be upset but that’s nothing more money can’t fix.
I had no idea he wrote that movie.
I won't say the series immediately fell off when they ran out of source material, but as the source material dried up it seems like the show runners lost interest in it. Even with HBO offering them as much money and time as they want they still wanted to end it ASAP. Which is crazy to me.

The worst part about all of this is how hubris these dudes are. They stopped consulting with GRRM after they passed the books which makes absolutely no sense to me. The best writer on their staff is Bryan Cogman, the only writer that fully understands the lore of the series, and he’s only written one episode this season (episode 2) while D&D are credited with writing episodes 4, 5, and 6

If the actual video footage ain't out, don't believe it... shyt they might have even leaked fake scripts and filmed multiple endings.. I went in there once and it was a bunch of shyt that didn't pan out..... but I'm not going back either way
