Her small council is made up of nikkas who switched sides. :stopitslime:

Tarly didn't want to switch sides. Tyrion didn't switch sides. He got tossed to the bushes and got a contract put on him by his sister. He was never really against Danerys. Varys been playing both sides for a minute, but agreed no real reason for Danerys to take him in like she has.

fukk trees apparently

:yeshrug:

Its crazy how EMPTY the world feels now. It used to be a living, breathing world.

We have no idea who runs what houses. We dont have any idea about civilians living under Cersei. We dont know shyt about the other Kingdoms

We got political maneuvering from wcharacters who have been useless since season 4.... 5 years ago:russ:trying to kill their Queen for following their own advice

THIS MAKES NO SENSE.

DANY HAS PUT IN MORE WORK THAN
ANY WOMAN ON THE SHOW.

WHY ARE PPL ACTING LIKE shyt WAS HANDED
TO HER ALL OF A SUDDEN?

Its not about who put in work. She came from the other side of the world and said "your queen is here"

Why does anyone in westeros have to be on Dany's side? Obviously the north doesnt trust anyone after all the shyt they've been thru. Its common sense they dont want to be ruled by anyone

this may be more of a book reader/history of Westeros question - how is it that EVERY SINGLE current great house is basically only 5-6 people deep and able to be wiped off the face of the map so easily. seems like a couple of these families would have a wide network of extended family:

  • starks, down to the last 4 3 2 1 - sansa, and she's a female so would they even carry on if she got married and had kids (arya decided to be no one, bran is a early 00's computer stuck in reboot, and jon is a stargaryen)
  • targs - i get how their line was on the brink
  • baratheon - stannis, renly and bobby b gone (all his b*stards...i guess gendry can be the rebound if jon/dany win)
  • tyrells - was 4 of them, all dead
  • martells - are the martells done? i couldn't tell which prince they were talking about
  • tarlys - i guess sam is able to bring them back? it's clear he broke every rule of taking the black and got a kid on the way, seems like he's not night's watch nor on the road to becoming a maester
  • tullys - is edmure still alive? but they're gone
  • arryn - we all know robin aint fathering no kids
  • lannisters - only 3 left, although all have the most potential of the houses left to repopulate their house
Just seems crazy that all the great houses of the story started out with 4-9 at most (lannisters) members alive....is there anything in GRRM's stories to allude to why this is the case?

The Lannisters still have the minor set of Lannisters at Lannisport. I think Kevan is also still alive???

Breh, did you really think Ned was legitimizing all 20 of Robert's b*stard kids here?:laff:

He changed the words to "rightful heir" to disqualify Joffery (and Tommen and Marcella). That's it. He wasn't legitimizing anyone with those words.
Gendry is the only one still alive and the only one that Ned had met. There has to be a bigger purpose behind them randomly deciding to bring him back after completely ignoring his existence for 6 seasons and they even made it a point to have Dany remind everyone of his lineage. shyt feels obvious as fukk. Don't be shocked when Varys or somebody pulls that letter out his ass; they've been doing that forced callback shyt all season.

That's always been problematic for me. Especially with the Starks. Like this family has survived for THOUSANDS of years. How are they down to like 5 people?:gucci: You figure one harsh winter would've taken them out long ago.

Now, you might remember just that one Game of Thrones episode that got a lot of hatred. It was Season 5, episode 6, “Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken”, which is infamously remembered for the Sansa Stark marriage scene and it is the lowest ranked Game of Thrones episode ever, standing in at a weak 57% on Rotten Tomatoes. “The Long Night” now has sunk to 75% at Rotten Tomatoes. While this is not as bad as 57%, it still makes the episode the lowest ranked one since Season 5, and the second lowest ranked Game of Thrones episode, ever. After “The Long Night” we have “The Bear and the Maiden Fair”, at 77%.

Fans had many complaints with “The Long Night”, the biggest of which was that it was too dark to comprehend, speaking in terms of lighting. Many fans were also disappointed that Arya was the one to kill the Night King and that it seemed too easy for a villain with such an elaborate set-up to be killed so easily.

This episode also is a record low for Miguel Sapochnik, Game of Thrones’ speciality battle episodes director, who usually has very high ranks with his episodes. It’s also sort of a shame because Game of Thrones has a whopping 22 episodes that are rated at 100%.
