I thought so, too. But on second look, it seems like Dany wasn't close enough to burn the ships. Remember, the closer she was to the ships, the closer the ships' arrows were to her.

That scene should never have happened but the dragon can move way faster than those ships. She could fly high enough out of their range, get behind them, and burn them. They'd have to turn 180° to attack which is impossible.

This felt like the writers killing a dragon for budget concerns just like they did the wolf.

Bronn got in undetected because that's what he does. It's like asking how Arya got by people. She's a ninja. Bronn is a fukkin hitman.

Not only did he stroll around with a cross bow but he found the exact spot Tyrion and Jamie were chilling at:stopitslime:

That scene didn't even really feel like Bronn. He has to much history with them and he's held them down without it being just about money.

And?:hhh: This is war. Two dragons dead. Fucboi Sansa plotting. End this shyt. Burn them all.:damn:
Right:gucci:

the convo for this episode is confusing:huh:Everybody’s like

“Dany is going mad!”
“She’s turning into her father!”

This is fukking war and nikkas are plotting on her from Sansa’s dumbass to people in her own council. She saved the North and in the process she lost more than half her army, 2 dragons, and the wildings ain’t even gonna return the favor and help her out down south which she ain’t really make a big fuss about and they still don’t trust her. Now she just lost her closest advisor/only friend.

What demeanor/disposition is she supposed to have? War isn’t a time to be meek.

The paths to get there will be dramatically different. Cersei won't be fukking queen of Westeros after blowing up the sept and having no money or allies for one.
Fat fukk hasn’t finished his books yet , he waiting to see how we react then he’ll change it

He ain't never finishing them books.. brehs. He said they had many conferences at his home and they went over the ending. It's been years since he's dropped that new material. This is all we got. :manny:

The under-utilization of Bran is just comical at this point. Tywin/Robb used scouts to get info on their enemy's movements, the wildlings used wargs to do their scouting. These nikkas sitting on a breh who can see everything that is happening and has happened yet couldn't be bothered to ask him what Cersei was up to before just marching south blindly. :dead:

Bruh, this nikka is literally omniscient, yet his squad is still taking Ls. :mindblown: It's almost as if he's an unbiased spectator beholden by some sacrosanct pact to not assist the North

Despite all the negative points. This still hit the target on a few things. The politics here were great. That convo between Tyrion and Varys was dope. Felt like old times. And I'm actually enjoying all of the in-fighting between sansa and dany. That's what made thrones great. All of the scheming and chess moves on eachother.

I feel like that's the whole message they're trying to get across. It's all going to end just how it started. It doesn't matter who sits on the throne cause it will always be temporary. The cycle of war will just keep repeating itself because human beings are just too hungry for power. EVERY character on this show is stupid. From jon, to dany, to sansa, to tyrion. All of them have major flaws because they come from flawed backgrounds. At the end of the day, we're all just slaves to our own past. We're just gonna keep repeating the same mistakes made before us until we open our eyes. The only character on this show who truly seemed to evolve beyond their past is arya. She sees the world exactly for what it is. She makes moves based on logic and not emotion. The message here is solid. The writers are just doing a shytty job getting it across. But ima give em these last 2 episodes. Maybe they end up putting it all together :yeshrug:

I swear between this thread, twitter, and r/asoiaf, I never seen an episode this panned. This episode was great to me, only second to episode 2 of the season. I hated last week’s episode but I felt like they bounced back strong with this one. Idk if this is just how people react when a show they like is ending in a way they didn’t or anticipate or if they have legitimate complaints. But seems like people just take pleasure hatewatching this show.

Because this show has been slowly getting worse since season 4. Nobody is nobody anything. We want to love this show.

We tried to give this season a honest chance.

2 filler episodes

BS Battle of Winterfell

Now this shyt I just watched

You can't defend this bullshyt no more. Unlimited budget and this is how it ends up smh

What books have you been reading?

-Varys stirred up shyt between Rhaegar and Mad King.

-He told Mad king rhaegar was plotting to overthrow him

-Switching rhaegars kid before sack of kings landing

-Using Jon Connington to bring the Golden Company to Westeros

I still think like 4 people knows what he is and what he is capable of doing.

Worst written character out of the bunch

This season is the worst written season to date. You say she ain't built for it but she's the only one with the sole power to take that entire country over and was told to neuter herself for the benefit of the ungrateful people in that country. Not her own.

She's got too much tyrant blood in her. What made her who she was across the sea was sincerity for her people. An amazingly appreciative people. These cacs in Westeros are entitled, needy and ungrateful. She shouldn't have listened to Tyriom and gone with her own instincts and raze the fukking place.

You can't say she not built for this when every situation she's in to make you say that is the exact opposite of what she herself wanted to do. Tyrion and Varys weren't built for this type of war. Every decision that she has made has been them two. Now they plotting.

Varys most definitely needs to die. And he will.

They forcing this Mad Queen plot
