Honestly I think my favorite ending at this point would've been apocalyptic. The night king never dies. He makes dany his queen and turns everyone into white walkers and it ends.

When they said the last season would be 6 episodes but longer than usual, I still said they needed at least 2 seasons to wrap up everything properly.

It's an amazing show. The amount of character progression and symbolism throughout the show is really something to take note of.
