Honestly, the only film in this franchise that I didn't care for was 3. It's always been a pretty solid franchise IMO. I never watched the TV show though.

show was cool...nowhere near as good as the flicks, but it had an interesting enough story for the first 2 seasons/TV movie. 3rd season they rebooted it and it was cool

I recently watched all the Scream movies back to back.

Scream 1 = classic.
Scream 2 = My favorite cuz of the intro scene with Omar Epps and Jada. The dual killer thing was bit redundant however. Plus it was clear Tim Olyphant da gawd was one of the killers from the get go.
Scream 3 = This shyt was dumb af. The director of the Stab movies is Sydney's long lost brother out for revenge???
Scream 4 = MUCH better than Scream 3. They went the dual killer route again but added a betrayal. By this time in the series the plot to kill Sydney seems convoluted af but at least it was entertaining.

I'll always hold a grudge against Mrs. Loomis for offing Randy. Dammit, Randy, why'd you have to get near that news van? What a rookie mistake for someone who was a horror movie aficionado.
