Floyd has been speaking differently since he got out of jail because he's been making a conscious decision to watch what he says and selects his words more carefully.

That's what I chalked it up too. People used to criticize him for stuttering so much, so it seems like he's been slowing down his speech in order to get his thoughts out more eloquently, while also curbing his stuttering.

that could be the case. floyd actual voice also has changed though. if you listen to james toney his speech started to deteriorate around the time he had that little campaign at cruiserweight and kept getting worse. its gradual. james is like floyd used to speak clearly and have a completely different voice compared to today. if they werent boxers i wouldnt have pointed it out but when you take punches over the course of long careers little things like that stand out

WBA welterweight champion Marcos Maidana (35-3, 31KOs) views Adrien Broner as a physically stronger fighter than Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26KOs), the WBC champion at 147. Their unification takes place on May 3rd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Broner was being pushed as the second coming of Mayweather. The two fighters are close friends. The push of Broner hit an Argentine brick wall when Maidana dropped him twice and won a twelve round unanimous decision to capture Broner's WBA title at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

"I am going to train well, I am going to go out there and fight without fear and without respecting him. There are many boxers that when they are in the ring with Floyd, they are afraid. He is not going to intimidate me. I want to beat him. Canelo Álvarez did not go after him. He didn't do anything and allowed [Mayweather] to work. I always go out to press my rival, to corner him and to unload my punches, and with Mayweather I am going to do the same," Maidana said.

"I believe that Mayweather is not as strong as Broner. He is a better boxer [than Broner] but I think that he is not as strong. I believe that, because [during our fight] Broner felt very strong and I do not see Mayweather being [strong] like that. Also, Mayweather often goes against the ropes and that's where he's in danger [of getting hit with punches]."

Looks like he's gonna tear that body up. And then say "I didn't expect Floyd to hit as hard as he did"..
i've been saying it...i just have a feeling that Floyd is gonna attack Maidana's questionable midsection. i know sparring/training sessions don't mean the world...but that video is kinda indicative of that. :mjpls:

Floyd always spoke like this, since back way in the day

Stuttering and screaming makes you sound like a angry black man, the whole act was scripted for him to generate heel heat

MM is getting ko'ed Floyd don't even have to attack his soft body for this to happen, he's simply to chinny to deal one or 2 clean counters................

Well this fight is over with :snoop:

How the fukk does fighter after fighter make the same incorrect ass assumptions about Floyd?

Ever since mauling ass Hatton said Floyd was a lot stronger than he seemed everyone else should have been like :ohhh:

Instead this doofus thinks someone who was too small for Welter is stronger than a legit 154lb champ :mjlol:

Opponents never seem to learn. Canelo looked like a hard hitting lion against Trout and Angulo, but a scrub with no speed or power against Mayweather. It is no mystery...Mayweather is better than these cats understand.

That just says so much about Mayweather. You have world class fighter fighting other world class fighters while looking good, yet they step in the ring with Mayweather and looks like scrubs. Mayweather is just on a different level and they don't realize it until they get in that ring. :wow:

Like I said prior to the fight being made....we already SEEN Floyd vs Maidana. We seen it when we watched Floyd vs JLC 1/JLC 2/Baldomir/DLH/Hatton/Guerrero/Ortiz/Cotto/Canelo:dead:

I'm tired of seeing that fight and Floyd has MASTERED that "style" his opponents try and implement. He had it mastered after JLC 1:snoop:
