Breh...again:
I've said the same thing everytime for why I purchase Floyd fights:sas1:

"the reason why was the #1 P4P fighter on the planet was the headliner of both cards. Of course, that's an automatic purchase for me, just in case there's an upset:ahh:"

Go check thecoli.com archives, I've said this on numerous occasions:sas2:

so instead of purchasing based on potential fight quality (which is what I do) you purchase on 1 fighter or name (which is what Floyd-Berto was, which fit what @TheNig said earlier in the thread)...:dame:..like I said your money...im going to watch supreme offensive boxing excellence skill for 50 bucks and be like at the entertaining carnage im watching

Im not in the business of throwing $50 down to watch a 20/1 favorite, in his prime, KO a much lesser opponent in a mis-match, when I could have seen that on HBO with my monthly subscription (which I will do the following week when they re-show it:ahh:)...just because a belt is on the line:mjpls:

Only way I'd do that, is if I was a fan of someone on the card, OR the #1 P4P fighter is somewhere on the card:yeshrug:

I bought Floyd vs Berto because Floyd was the #1 P4P fighter in the world & was fighting his last fight ever. That's more than enough reason to do so imo.:blessed:

If I bought GGG vs Lemieux, I'd be paying $50 to watch the mis-match, just to see Prime GGG KO Lemieux in under 10 rounds:mjlol:

There's no incentive for me to do that. I might as well watch UFC if I wanna see 2 guys with average, at best, defense slug it out until the 20/1 favorite KOs him like we already know is gonna happen:dead:

Should this be a PPV fight? No

Unfortunately if it wasn't, this fight wouldn't have happened. Wasn't happening on regular HBO so :yeshrug:

I paid for both of them...and the reason why was the #1 P4P fighter on the planet was the headliner of both cards. Of course, that's an automatic purchase for me, just in case there's an upset:ahh:

Yes, current #1 P4P Gonzalez is on the GGG vs Lemieux card, but he's the size of an elementary school student....I don't fukk with fighters that small (and the more that I think about it, anything under Featherweight is :camby: status for me too):yeshrug:

So, with that being said, me paying $50 to watch GGG, who's as high as a 20-1 favorite over Lemieux (who we all expect GGG to KO) is not worth the price imo. Should've been on HBO Championship Boxing where a pay my subscription for every month.:mjpls:

This is a mismatch, and the only saving grace anyone ever says is "but Lemieux has a Championship". So what, still doesn't mean it should've been on PPV. Could've been on cable like Kovalev vs Hopkins was (Kovalev was only as high as a 3/1 favorite over Hopkins) .:sas2:

Even when Floyd fought Maidana the 1st time, he was still lower with his high as a 14-1 favorite over Maidana...while GGG opened at 20-1 over Lemieux:wow:
According to ESPN this card has the top 2 PFP fighters on it. I know you said you would buy any PPV with the #1 PFP on it. :sas2:

Yeah I know ESPN is blasphemous right now and you said you don't get down under Featherweight. Chocolatito is getting down though. He is worth the watch.
And you know that this PPV is about building GGG as a PPV attraction, not if it should be regular HBO. They have to make the jump sometime.
Spend the $50 and enjoy a good card. :blessed:

you're going to be in the house for it...non support would be not watching this fight at all...but you love boxing too much so yes support

:mjlol:

Also, compare buying the PPV of the #1 fighter of the era's last fight before retiring, to buying a fighter in the middle of his prime's PPV where he's a 20/1 favorite, and expected to KO his opponent brehs:heh:

Pat going extra hard out here for this struggle fight :mjlol:

20/1 odds ? :scust:

So he could have fought Ward(ppv fight) or Lara (who has actually been on ppv before) yet he fights Lemiux expects us to pay for it but Pat has a problem with pbc match making though :dame:

Doesn't apply to me...since there are plenty of posts with me talking about MW unification..including that fight which is one of the best fights this year
