these coli movie execs kill me. F8 already at $900M at the box ofice. Hobbs and Shaw were the two standouts in the movie and had great chemistry. It's a no brainer.

I think it will be interesting to see how much it makes at the box office. The spin off that is.these coli movie execs kill me. F8 already at $900M at the box ofice. Hobbs and Shaw were the two standouts in the movie and had great chemistry. It's a no brainer.

The Rock is the biggest star in Hollywood..its gonna do very well.A lot will depend on the release date they secure. Just speaking domestically, Summer means bigger OW but smaller multiplier. If they do a Fall release maybe a smaller OW but could ride out longer. I'd guess they go with a summer release because of overseas. Plus, this has always been a big Summer franchise, they'd probably sandwich it in between F9 and F10 maybe on an off year like how SW does.
I don't think it'd do $100M opening weekend because it won't have the tentpole title card. I'd guess $75M-$80M OW, a 2.4 multiplier giving it right around $200M domestic. Can probably do at least 50% of overseas so we're talking $200M plus probably another $600M+ overseas.
At least $800M.
176 millionAs long as it's not baywatch
Keep wearing the body armor and kicking azz
Amazing how that happened after the slow start
Yea it could of been worse, the reviews are terrible. Where can you keep track of DVD/blu sales? That's not good tho lol. 176 million for a movie which costs about 70 million to make and that's not including how much they spent on promo which was probably another 70 or 80. Plus the theaters get their take. They needed it to be 21 jump street from a success standpoint.
