It was pretty bad. The action was nowhere near fast and furious level. It was also too much of a comedy in the worst way of getting cheap laughs. Theres some positives like highlighting somoan culture and people. Idris just wasnt that good of a villain either.

Movie was awesome , the comedy worked better than I thought
Who are the cameos? Spoiler for a breh :feedme:
ryan Reynolds had a big cameo as HobbsCIA handler , was very comedic and definitely see him in the future . Kevin Hart has a cameo as a Air Marshal who was delta force as well I think and provided a big assist to the heroes

I liked it for the action. The comedy was hit or miss. A lot of miss. But the action was dope as hell even when it went from day to night to thunderstorm all in the span of 10 seconds for one scene.

Idris was kinda wasted but everyone else, including the cameos, did their thing. It’s solid. Nothing I see myself going to again and definitely isn’t as fun as the other FF flicks. But a decent way to spend a night.

This shyt is tracking for 200 milly? I need to find that thread saying it would only do 60:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

It's in here. Homeboy was reading the tracking damn near a month out telling us it was going to flop.

BUT, to be fair lol. the tracking was spot on. That's 200M WW. Here, it'll do about 60-70. That's "low" but not for this series. That's on average or a little above average.

The domestic numbers look to be on point but the disingenuous nature of calling it a flop based merely on domestic numbers was ridiculous in and of itself. A spinoff is about to do 200 mill opening week. 60 mill domestically is still impressive. This movie will recoup its budget off domestic money alone and crush it overseas. I look forward to more of the juelzing I've already seen about The Rock's ability to lead a successful film :mjlit:
