Because the swap is tradition of KC,

Another stupid piece of writing...if the first two ended in the exact kind of treachery it was purportedly designed to prevent, why would anyone agree to do it in the future? Especially a Black man in 1950s America?

A few episodes ago Loy boasts about how his wife was heartbroken about giving his son to the Italians yet he did it with no fukks given and here we are now and you’re trying to paint him as the gangsta with a heart of gold. :mjlol:

While you’re explaining away dumb writing, explain why Loy, who is prepping for war, would send away two of his more effective hitters in Auntie and the Squaw? Seems he needs all the shooters he can muster at the moment.

(Guess I’ll stop asking about the cop not telling Faddas where Justo was cuz you keep ignoring that :mjlol:)

I get what you're saying and I was initially pissed off that Loy didn't pop dude's brother and break code til I realized that he baited them to butt heads so he could infiltrate them as a weakness. He somehow figured out that his son is alive and simply waging war might put him at a disadvantage. Now that Justo is free, he might turn on his own brother while Loy is already preparing to attack. Plus if you remember, he told Rabbi to protect him. Somewhere in there it's not adding up and Rabbi is on Loys side so they may have secretly communicated that.

The only weakness he has is the Italian son..... that's all I'm gonna say.

I agree that Loy is skeptical about them killing his son, but I can’t say that he knows they didn’t kill him. Otherwise, why tell his wife that they did?

They killed Doctor Senator
They tried to kill his older son
They “killed” his youngest son (at the very least, they’ve sent him away so he can’t be with Loy and his family.

I do agree that letting Justo go was the smart play (however desperate, cuz Justo is a loose cannon who may exact revenge on both his brother and Loy for the torture) I think they just wrote it horribly

Because, for the window while it works, it allows them to keep growing & building their business while negotiating moves/territory/etc... instead of beefing over it. And, if you recall, the arrangement allowed for the newcomers to build up enough power to oust the established group twice now, so why wouldn't Loy think it'd give them the same opportunity?

Can't kill a child doesn't equal "heart of gold."

They're not hitters; they're wildcards who owed him so he used them in that scenario. Not like he's going to put them on the payroll.

You keep asking why the cop whose brain is broken from results of inaction in war is similarly stuck freaking out and unable to move as his life is threatened plus Mormon Raylan on his back? It's obvious to anyone paying attention to the character & that's why he was trying to run away instead of actually dealing with any of the sides that are pulling at him.

This is a whole bunch of BS :mjlol:

But I won’t sully this thread by continuing to go back and forth with you about it. Enjoy your show. :hubie:

No Whammies!!
Something I noticed when reading the subtitles:
On paper, the racial slur "Mulignan" looks a lot like the name "Mulligan". I had to stop and rewind when I saw that to make sure they WEREN'T saying Mulligan.
