SMH @ Chris Rock being scapegoated for this trash ass writing. :snoop:

No other Black actor would’ve saved this mess. :mjlol:

Loy is a terrible boss, they killed your right hand and they “killed” your son and your p*ssy ass tryna play chess? Foh, makes no sense at all.

He has nothing on the cop, makes no sense why he wouldn’t have told Fadda where his brother was last episode anyways.

Season is such a disappointment.

I like Jack Huston as an actor, but the OCD crooked cop is getting too much screen time. He's just not a very intriguing character. We get it, he takes a long time to leave and enter rooms and he can be bribed by just about anyone. Rather spend more time with Whishaw, Olyphant, or the smart teenage black girl.

I agree. I lose interest whether him or the two women that criminals are on screen. Those two make me feel physically ill.

Completely disagree.

Even if you think he's making the wrong move, you completely buy that character making that move and that's great writing.

People making decisions that only gets everyone deeper in the shyt is the essence of "Fargo" and I'm loving this season.

No, I don’t buy that at all. :heh:

tf is the point of swapping boys if he knew he was too p*ssy to exact revenge for them killing his kid? :camby:

Great writing??? you nikkas have lost your minds :laff:

Feel free to also explain why the cop didn’t just tell Fadda where the bro was too lol

How do you know until you're in that moment? He had the rope in hand outside the bathroom but ultimately couldn't do it. He couldn't kill a child he's been raising in his home for a minute. That's completely keeping in line with his character. You see it a weakness in a leader of a criminal empire & I see it as someone who, even as a kingpin of doing dirt, has some moral lines can't cross ("Man's got to have a code.") and we can both be right.

If he has a code, then why accept the swap? :mindblown:

But I see you are intent on explaining away shytty writing, so just enjoy your show

Because the swap is tradition of KC, where Loy's group is making inroads & building power, to maintain the peace. We're shown in the first episode how poorly that actually works in history (which foreshadows the season), but, to Cannon's crew when they make the deal, it's a way to keep growing their illicit business without actively warring with the Italians while doing it.

I get what you're saying and I was initially pissed off that Loy didn't pop dude's brother and break code til I realized that he baited them to butt heads so he could infiltrate them as a weakness. He somehow figured out that his son is alive and simply waging war might put him at a disadvantage. Now that Justo is free, he might turn on his own brother while Loy is already preparing to attack. Plus if you remember, he told Rabbi to protect him. Somewhere in there it's not adding up and Rabbi is on Loys side so they may have secretly communicated that.

The only weakness he has is the Italian son..... that's all I'm gonna say.
