Season is cool so far, not great but cool. Honestly Rock is throwing it off for me. Don't think he has any qualities that make him believable as a boss or at least as someone who could rise to that level. I can think of a ton of other cats that could've filled that role better. Not hating on Rock, I just don't think he has this range in him.
Yeah, he doesn't have that weight to him.

Was talking with my pops about it and he said someone like Idris would've killed the shyt.

ya he’s not tapping into that darkness I need to make me believe he’s capable of being a boss...I don’t need him to be a big/hulking figure but there’s nothing menacing about him at all...when he issues threats it sounds hollow...idk maybe it’s just too hard for me to disconnect him from his comedian persona...his performance is not really bad/distracting...but I just feel completely neutral about it

Just caught up...
:wow:

The score during the scenes with Satchel was intense. I figured Rabbi was going to get there in time but with Fargo you never know. I don't know how this is going to play out

:lupe:

Todd from Breaking Bad gotta be one of the most cold hearted goons in recent TV history

:wow:

Pacing of this season is ass with still too many characters divided over too many subplots. No Olyphant this entire episode and all we've seen of Oraetta the past two eps was her banging her head against the wall and the convo with the doctor about the letter. The two outlaw women helped snatch Gaetano but were nowhere to be found in this episode after.

It's a fukking mess and I actually hit the :picard: when I saw that four writers were credited for this episode. Noah Hawley has to be completely burned out.
And even still... This season is managing to develope the characters well. I've seen plenty of shows that have a plethora of characters that the audience doesn't care about. This season doesn't have that problem.

Chris Rock is stepping out of his comfort zone in this one for sure, but the dialog driven scenes about this country and race have been authentic and real.

When I saw he was casted, I initially thought his character would be on the quirky comedic side in the Fargo universe, but I was wrong.

Either way, he's doing a vastly better job than what we saw out of Vince Vaughn in True Detective Season 2.

I think if Chris rock delivered his lines slower and more methodical it would make a world of difference. He acts like he wants to get off screen as fast as possible. Let shyt simmer a bit before going to the next line.

either way that’s a minor complaint. Great show.

I hate the OCD cop that shyt is way over the top.
