Nice close-out. Episode did a good job setting up future conflicts. Need like two more eps for me to determine whether I dig the season or not. The story's good and all but the charm isn't hitting like the first two seasons. The acting, particularly from Olyphant and Whishaw, are what's grabbing my attention so far.

caught the beginning cause I missed it due to the Finals
ep was mostly flat until the end...the story is teetering on the edge of being either good or flaming out. Olyphant was a good addition and the little girl is putting on a great performance for young actress. I'll more than likely stick thru to the end with this either way

It’s kind of demeaning for a chick to get you high, Jack you off in the car and then walk away. That was a boss move. Treated dude like a baby.

Still too much loose cogs in the machine. I get that Fargo is about happenstance coincidences and disagreements leading to highly unanticipated violent conflict but there's just too much on the board here. They introduce Olyphant's character in a five minute opening scene, then he has one more scene before and is off the board for the remaining 45 minutes.
Mayve if Noah Hawley spent less time writing Nolanesque monologues for every character and worked more on the plot maybe every plot thread and character beat wouldn't feel so undercooked.

Loving the season so far. My thoughts:
I really like the dialogue of this show. Always have. There's so many funny lines but the serious ones hit too.
The tension in this episode was so thick goddamn.
The nurse chick is gonna be the downfall of everything.
I feel like the guy playing Gaetano is overacting, but I'm cool with it cus it really sells his character as a loose cannon homicidal crazy mf. Its like none of the dudes on the italian side are right in the head, which makes Irishbruh look like a saint.
The girl who ate the pie had a really cool monologue and my favorite line was "People think its houses that get haunted, but they're wrong"
Lines like that always stick out to me.
I dont see anyone besides Cannon's youngest son and maybe Irishbruh living thru the season.

Why do y'all taint threads with reviews from other sites and critics...in this case, before the show began? I scrolled a few pages back and the season didn't even start yet, and people in here posting about disappointing reviews.
As much as I enjoy discussing shows on here, one thing I hate about coming in threads for shows that I watch is reading opinions on stuff that subconsciously makes me go into watching it looking for reasons why it's trash or amazing... Especially when the season hasn't even started.
It's a much better experience for me to just watch and form my own thoughts than reading up on it prior to checking it out myself.

I actually like him. His facial expressions and dialogue is over the top, but in every scene he's in he's pretty much stolen it. You can tell he's full blown crazy and his actions are gonna bring everything down. He has the henchmen around him scared of how crazy he is.
