Just watched lay night. Nobody mentioned the Italian son saying “Aces” to whoever the fukk he was taking to. I think it was someone that came to pay respect after the Don died.

NGL, I fukked with those MInny/ND accents. Show feels different without those.

Haven’t seen this show since season 1, but I think I gotta watch this seasoN. :ohhh:

Definitely go back and peep s2 man. Bookem Woodbine gives maybe a career best performance. In a stacked cast he still ends up one of the better performances from the season. He got an emmy nom for it (shoulda won too).

He somehow made Jabberwocky work perfectly as the voiceover for a tooling up scene...

Love that season. So glad this show is back.

It's alright so far. Noah Hawley has definitely fallen off the past few years and it doesn't help he's a so-so director at best. So far my biggest takeaway is too many characters who (at this point) are too thinly connected.

Chris Rock and Jason Schwartzman are also both not strong enough for the roles they're in. It doesn't help that the "secondaries" (Doctor Senator and Gaetano) are far more interesting characters.

Also, nobody talking about Jack Huston aka Richard Harrow playing 50s Monk on this show? Dude is excellent with these nervous introverted characters.

Kansas City, MO.
so is Chris Rocks son in the show who Bookeem grows up to be?

Having your city be the setting for a TV show, this is what people who live in LA/NYC must feel like all the time :skip:
yeah. LOL...when they mentioned Mission Hills and Leawood being :mjpls:....:dead:
I'm tryna see if they show streets like Prospect, Troost, and Paseo in the 50s. :pachaha:

great first ep...was a little nervous given some comments I seen on multiple forums but I’m already hooked...extremely cinematic as well

umm who the fukk was that in the middle of the street when it panned from the young girl with her dad in front their house to the creepy nurse in her apartment at the end?

I’m curious to see some timeline theories too to establish who some of these characters are/might become
