I’m loving this season so far. It’s way better than season 3 at this point. ( @ that season)

Fargo is such a quality show. It’s funny watching people on the fence in this thread for the season while folks in the Lovecraft Country thread keep coppin pleas about why we should stick with it and why it’s supposedly a good show but

Season 3 was dope to me breh. The dialog that Varga brought to the table was A1







The one line that fukked with me the most from that season, and probably the whole series was when Varga said this line...

"The problem is not that there is evil in the world. The problem is that there is good... because otherwise, who would care?"

This and s2 of Fargo are the 2 seasons I think about the most. S2 was amazing and the best one imo, but I really admire how different s3 was and how it got weirder in the final stretch. That episode when Nikki and the other guy were running from Varga's goons was so dope to me. And Varga deadass is the devil lol straight up evil

I've watched a lot of stuff over the years, but that line about what the real problem in the world is is probably one of the most ruthless lines I can recall hearing. The way he broke that shyt down and explained why he felt that way had me like...

I haven't started season 4 yet but I loved season 3. Not sure where a lot of the hate came from.

Season 3 was an absolute gem.

I usually find Thewlis amazing in almost every thing he does, but holy fukk did they nail the casting with him as Varga. My favorite villain of the bunch and by far the nastiest wolf of the past three seasons IMO. Malvo and Hanzee were brutal in their own ways, but the way Varga was painted as this timeless evil of sort was so sick, creepy, and disturbing.

So far I'm about this season... but I felt the same way about S2 of this show after the first couple of episodes and was by the end.


Point is, IMO I still think this season could be great.
