World almost ends like 3 times in the series and all I keep thinking about is who the hell keeps building all this shyt

Liked 1, loved 2, didn't care for 3, will watch 4 later today but I've really lowered my expectations after 3.

Apparently once you watch 4 it makes you have a greater appreciation for 3.


Either way everything i’ve heard of 4 has been overwhelmingly positive

I posted my thoughts in the What Anime you’re watching Thread. The movie for me was a masterpiece as it satisfied me on all levels. It’s surprisingly a movie about “Hope” which hasn’t never been the forefront of this series.

In any case, this movie was worth the wait.

Well, for me personally, I’ve followed this series for over 20 years so to finally see the growth of Shinji in this movie was a satisfying experience. It enhanced my experience, although I did like the transformation of the other characters as well.

No doubt. I’ve loved Evangelion since I was 15, although my favorite all time anime is Rahxephon (which some erroneously call an Eva ripoff) I could always appreciate the superiority of Eva’s overall character development
