Damn.....I had France as one of the best but I'm not so sure anymore. The defense is a fukking joke, outside of Kante and Payet the midfield seems kinda weak, and the attack is slow as fukk with those starters but better with Martial and Coman. I don't think France is winning this.

I'd like Martial to start in attack but at least they have versatility there either a central target man like Giroud or pace in behind like Martial. Or they could play the 2 up front, but they excel in midfield so it is better to have that one striker.

But agree with you, defense needs improvement. Not championship calibre. They're talented as hell though.

Hopefully Deschamp isn't stupid enough(well...he is) to start him on the wing. He needs to be in the middle creating chances. Put either one of the two cacs up front and have Coman and Martial on the wing with Pogba and Kante in the middle. I'm sorry but Griezman can't beat his man. Put him up front or hit the bench.

They don't have to seem many options in terms of natural wingers, and it's been that way for a while. Martial can play on the wing like he's done for Monaco and Utd but he is a striker primarily.

Even in the World Cup 2 years back, they had Ribery (not an option now) but Valbuena was not a prototypical winger. They need to address that option. But for the purposes of this tournament, I'd stretch the field with Martial and Coman perhaps, at the expense of benching someone like Griezmann. That will allow Payet to flourish in the middle of the field and Matuidi too.

So you're saying Payet didn't have a great club season. So you're saying Payet is a better free kick specialist. So you're saying Payet doesn't beat his man in a far superior fashion. Friend I beg to differ though respect your opinion.

Coman is an out and out winger breh. that's where he shined at Bayern. Martial scored 17 goals and 11 assists from the wing.
