The people’s champ, Rudy Ray Moore

Watched it over two nights, so it didn’t feel like it dragged to me like others have mentioned

It was a curious approach that Eddie took to portray him, but it somehow worked and made it all the more endearing.

I really enjoyed this

Wanted to watch some of his movies after i finished, but Netflix doesn’t have any available

BET and TV One will probably cash in on it...and air the heavily edited versions, of course.

Yeah. I wouldn't be surprised if a good chunk of dudes back in the day at least did a gay act if they weren't full on gay

Glad to see Lady Reed getting some shine!!!! Da'Vine Joy Randolph did a terrific job. I sure wish Eddie could do a better Dolemite voice. Put Aries Spears' voice in Eddie's body and you would've had perfection. Wesley stole the show. (Who knew?) Very solid movie - a B+, easy. Not much about RRM himself, but it's a fascinating story about how a cult class got made on a boot and a shoe.

I always thought he might've been but wasn't sure. Sometimes his tone and mannerisms came off as "sassy"
