I didn't know they was in the movie but it was a pleasant surprise.

What a great movie, I can watch this movie over and over again

To be honest, I know everybody would love to see Charles Murphy to play Rudy but I don't think he can pull it off like Eddie did.....I don't see it..

Charlie was a good actor and GREAT storyteller but this is no disrespect to him when I say that he didn’t possess the inherent Charisma that Eddie has that helped make his turn as Rudy so memorable and anchored the film.

I get where you're coming from. Eddie's charisma/enthusiasm is what keeps you rooting for Rudy. I do think Charlie would have nailed the Dolemite persona and seeing him try to pull off that charisma and serious scenes is the type of stuff that wins oscars. Cause for him it would have been going against type and nailing what we expect (Dolemite). Now would he have nailed it? Idk. Still sad he's gone cause I'm sure Eddie would have gave him a part in this great movie.

Still Eddie was fantastic. Movie actually got me back excited about Coming to America II cause I forgot just how much Eddie can carry a movie.

To be fair...Eddie could have put him in Harlem Nights

I did see the vid of Eddie saying he reached out about 15 years ago saying he wanted to do a movie about his life, but Rudy wanted a mill just for the script to be written

Eddie also said how Rudy wanted them to go on shows together.

So yea I believe it.
