If this has sports, goodbye Netflix.

They own ESPN/ABC. People could buy ESPN+ and maybe get a discount on this but I doubt it. Also, ESPN doesn't own the NBA or NBA Playoffs, they have the finals.. they don't own anything that's of value for the NFL outside of MNF, they don't own March Madness either and I don't think they own the BCS. So you'd still have to get sports elsewhere.

Didn't Disney buy Hulu though. And Hulu streams sports now.

No, they have sports channels. If you buy Hulu with "live sports" you are buying Hulu with live TV which is $50 a month. The stations they stream like TNT or NBC Sports Network, they have deals to carry these stations. These stations can pull out of the deal. Either way you are paying $50.

If you buy Disney+ you are not also getting Hulu. If you buy ESPN+ you are not also getting Hulu or Hulu with live sports. You have to buy them all separately which right now would cost you about $60 or so + tax it would end up being close to 70 bucks.

If you are paying 70 bucks now you are paying more than what basic cable is. This is why I don't see Netflix dying because Netflix got so popular because people wanted to cut the cord.

If you buy all these Disney services you are not cutting the cord you are simply trading for an inferior product. Streaming is inferior to cable.

In the end it will be Disney, Netflix, WB, Apple, and Amazon. Those will be the last video media companies standing.
