Just got back from seeing it and surprisingly it wasn’t bad. Will Smith did a great job as a Genie and would have made Robin Williams proud.

I pretty much had no problems with the majority of the cast. Naomi Scott as Jasmine was a good choice and she was looking :wow:. I also had no issue with ole boy who played Aladdin too.

One of my only issues is with Jafar. I felt they could have gotten somebody else to play him. Hell they could have gotten the actually voice actor to play him since he plays him in the broadway musical too. So might as well :yeshrug:

Dude did do a good job though..so I’m not complaining too much.

The final battle could have been better too. In the animated version it was literally a race against time. Aladdin had to think on his feet and it was a lot more intense. Especially when Jafar turned into that big ass snake which still has me :merchant: to this day.

In the live action it felt dragged out and Aladdin got help from Genie figuring out how to outsmart Jafar and all that. You just knew they were gonna get out of it compared to the animated version where you were left in suspense.

But that’s just me..

Other then that I enjoyed this and I wouldn’t mind seeing it again. And if/WHEN this makes a lot of money..Disney should consider making “Return Of Jafar.”

I wanna see it but I don't want to go alone

Just came back from 2:00pm showing. It was all adults in the theater. I literally didn't see any kids.

The movie was meh. I had a feeling that the movies we know really well (Aladdin and Lion King) couldn't capture the magic like animated joints.

I enjoyed Jungle Book because I had never seen the story before.

Was it the exact same story as the cartoon version or did they deviate a lot?

Just saw it, it was fun. I didn’t take it seriously and I enjoyed the movie.

Will killed it. He was the standout in the movie.

Both jasmine and aladdin did a great job as well.

Definitely expect the girl who played Jasmine to get more roles. Her sex appeal was something else.
